The generic name of this medication is quinapril/hydrochlorothiazide and brand names are Accuretic and Quinaretic.
Accuretic is manufactured by Pfizer.
The active ingredients in Accuretic are quinapril and hydrochlorothiazide.
Mainly used in treating high blood pressure.

Common Uses:

This medication is used for the treatment of high blood pressure.

Off Label Uses:

None noted currently.

Side Effects:
Diarrhea
Difficulty breathing, dizziness, or lightheadedness when sitting up or standing Fatigue
Headache
Loss of appetite
Nausea
Persistent dry cough
Tiredness

Cautions / Warnings:

Not advisable in patients allergic to any ingredient in Accuretic
Not advisable during pregnancy
Not advisable in patients with severe kidney problems or a history of angioedema (swelling of the face, lips, throat, or tongue)

Drug Interactions:
Barbiturates (eg phenobarbital), corticosteroids (eg prednisone), diazoxide, narcotic pain medicines (eg codeine)
Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) (eg indomethacin) or salicylates (eg aspirin)
Dextran sulfate, digoxin, dofetilide, ketanserin, lithium, potassium-sparing diuretics (eg triamterene)
Insulin or oral hypoglycemics (eg glyburide)
