06 Jul 2010	My mother was prescribed Actonel by a visiting locum within 48 hours she experienced a tingling sensation all over her body, followed by horrific pain in all her joints which has continued for another 3 weeks and is ongoing. She is also experiencing night sweats, often having to change her pyjamas twice during the night. She is 72, has diabetes and hypertension. I am appalled that a locum would prescribe this without looking at the rest of her medication and medical condition. She is still incapacitated and we are still waiting for answers. 22 Dec 2009	I have not had any problems with it. 15 Sep 2009	48 hrs after taking one pill my leg muscles gave out . I fell and damaged my knee.
