23 Jan 2013 The advil Pm does help me sleep...but I am having some side effects, that may, or may not be attritured to Advil. I have either a runny nose, or very dry nose. I have developed some ache in only my left ear..my left eye is also blurring.

05 Jul 2012 I HAD PAIN IN MY FOOT FROM BREAKING MY TOES 3 MONTHS AGO AND I FELT SO RESTLESS SO MY DAUGHTER OFFERED ME AN ADVIL PM. AFTER AN HOUR, I WENT TO SLEEP AND SLEPT GOOD. SO THE NEXT TWO NIGHTS I REPEATED THE SAME.ON THE MORNING OF THE FOURTH DAY, I GOT UP AND STUMBLED ,THIS BEHAVIOR LASTED FOR THE NEXT TWO WHOLE DAYS AND I COULDN'T CONTROL IT. I WENT TO THE STORE AND WAS STUMBLING LIKE I WAS DRUNK. FINALLY SUNDAY I WENT TO THE HOSPT.THEY TOOK BLOOD TEST, MRI,CAT SCAN AND HAD ME ON A HEART MONITOR COULDN'T FIND A THING THAT WAS MAKING ME DIZZY.THEY EVEN GAVE ME HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE MEDS. WELL, IT BOTHERED ME THAT THEY DIDN'T KNOW WHAT WAS WRONG. TURNS OUT, I'M ALLERGIC TO BENEDRYL(DIPHENHYDRAMINE) AN INGREDIENT IN ADVIL PM AND I NEVER ACCOCIATED TAKING THIS MED WITH MY KNOWN ALLERGY TO IT.LOOK UP BENEDRYL SIDE EFFECTS, IT CAN ALSO MAKE YOU HAVE TWITCHES LIKE SOMETHINGS CRAWLING ON YOU.HIVES, (WORKS OPPOSITE IF YOURE ALLERGIC TO IT) HOPE THIS HELPED SOMEONE.

14 Jun 2012 My boyfriend was having bad alcohol withdrawl symptoms and was not able to sleep but ten mins the night before and so he took two PMs and still couldnt sleep so about three hours later took another and he told me he only slept maybe five hours and i woke up to him yelling down stairs at my parents that werent even home because he thought they were talking about him. Can advil pm give you hallucinations if you dont sleep after taking them?

21 Feb 2012 Advil pm does help me sleep, but I have began experiencing sever joint pain in my neck, sholders, back, hips and knees, If I do not take advil pm the pain is not as bad the next morning although I really dont sleep well that night.

26 Nov 2012 Yes. I took it for a couple of nights this weekend because I have arthritis and was having trouble sleeping. It was ok during the weekend--I didn't really notice anything--but when I went to work I was so frustrated and anxious about everything, I thought I was losing my mind. I realized it was the Advil PM. That felt terrible--like I was watching someone else, but it was me! I'm now drinking lots of water and getting it out of my system. Never again. Answer is a clear: YES.
