13 Apr 2018 The only anti-depressant that has helped insomnia and depression. I am 70 and have suffered depression since childhood. It has completely fixed my lifelong insomnia, whereas SSRIs worsened insomnia and caused numerous side effects and terrible withdrawal symptoms. I have been able to completely cease Xanax and have reduced Zoloft to 100mg. I am tapering off Zoloft with no withdrawal effects so far. GP optimistic I can get off Zoloft completely as it stopped working years ago but could not stop, even with tapering because of withdrawal. Valdoxan maynot work fir everyone, but no anti-depressant does but it certainly works for me.

30 Sep 2017 6 weeks after starting felt much better mentally but got unusual symptoms. Joints in feet and knees became stiff and made movement painful and difficult. Around 3 months after starting I got a severe pain in my left side. Medical tests showed enlarged lymph nodes in my stomach. Further tests revealed more enlarged lymph nodes in spleen, neck and activation of bone marrow. Have been diagnosed with sarcoidosis.

27 Jul 2017 Hasn't been the greatest experience so far but not the worst. I'm a mum of a toddler and I barely sleep as it is so it's hard sometimes. I've had depression and anxiety for almost 6 years now. I also suffered from post natal depression too after having my daughter. I also have ADD and I'm on dexamphetimines for it. I'm having trouble controlling my moods since stopping my last antidepressant (lexapro) and coming into this one. I'm slowly getting there. Hopefully it'll help even more soon and I won't feel so hopeless. Not to mention, I've also had suicidal thoughts since stopping last medication.

27 Jul 2017 I am taking Valdoxan for 5 years now. It helps me with sleep and as a result my overall mood is much better. It took me about four months at the beginning to realize changes. Keep going and hope it will help to you, too.

14 Jul 2015 I was on 25mg for a year. I was fine. Doctor increased to 50mg a week ago and my head is about to explode. Headaches and migraines are driving me insane! Trying to figure out if that's momentary or not.

17 Jun 2015 The first night I had this, I had a terrible night sleep, vivid dreams and my anxiety was through the roof. I was so emotional and had s tough time not crying(not normal for me). My doctor took me off them and put me on Ativan. After another visit a few days later, we decided to give Valdoxan another go in conjunction with the Ativan. The first 5 days were an emotional roller coaster for me. I wanted to cry constantly. 8 days in and I'm finally starting to feel good emotionally. My anxiety is finally under control and I'm getting a libido again for the first time in 6 years(since Zoloft killed it).
