This medication is used to treat symptoms caused due to common cold; flu; allergies; hay fever; and other breathing conditions like sinusitis and bronchitis.

Not recommended in people with:
Allergic reactions to this medication or any of its ingredients;
Abdominal problems like chronic constipation; ileus pancreatitis;
Adrenal gland disorder like Addison's disease;
Certain brain disorders like head injury; tumor; increased intracranial pressure;
Breathing problems like asthma; emphysema;
Diabetes;
Certain eye problems like glaucoma;
Heart problems;
Hypertension;
Kidney problems;
Liver disease;
Mental/mood problems like depression; psychosis;
Seizures;
Stomach/intestinal conditions like ulcers or blockages;
Underactive thyroid (hypothyroidism);
Urination problems due to enlared prostrate or urinry intention.
Use/abuse of drugs/alcohol.

It is also not advisable in pregnant women; those that are planning on becoming pregnant and nursing mothers.
