The generic name of this medication is amoxicillin and some of the brand names are Amoxil, DisperMox, Polymox, and Trimox.

The active ingredient of this medication is amoxicillin and it is available in the form of capsules, pediatric suspension, sachets and injection.

This medication is used in the treatment of bacterial infections and conditions like infections of the middle ear, tonsillar infections, sore and other throat infections, laryngitis, bronchitis, pneumonia, urinary tract infections, skin infections, and gonorrhea.

It is manufactured by Cipla Limited.

26 May 2017 I went to see my doctor after an entire night of suffering a severe headache and sore throat, unbelievable body aches, and a fever of 101. She gave me Amoxicillin 250mg tablets and Ibuprofen 800mg tablets. I started feeling better two days later. 14 Nov 2014 I recently have had the flu virus and my local GP advised me take a prescription drug that was antibiotics but actually called Amoxicillin. I took a dose of it yesterday and I recently discovered that I have a huge rash from my face to my legs. I had found out that the Amoxicillin had made me start to itch many times. The rash was bright red so I don't know what has happened and why.
