User Comments about Armour thyroid
12 Oct 2011 I have been having more problems with Armour, and been wanting to try it; because I never felt that great on Synthroid and the generic brand. They removed my thyroid and my ranges our high for me. Since, I have been taking this Armour, I am jumpy, high puslse, very high blood pressure on and off tthrough out the day, palpitations, depressed, tired. I have heard that some people love it, but I am one who isn't a lover. I know that they changed the formula, others have told me it was much better. I never thought I would say this, but I am going back to Synthroid with Cytomel. I didn't feel great on that, but never felt this bad. It isn't consistant from what I hear. My doctor was willing to try this on me, but says very hard to regulate. Not willing to wait feeling this bad.

15 Nov 2010 I was taking synthroid for about 2 years for Hashimotos disease. It was awful. From the first pill, I felt a depression come over me. I recently switched to armour and no more big stomach, debilitating fatigue and general moodiness. It's the best I've felt in years! I will never switch back! My doctor fought me so hard, for a few months about not switching. I am also GLUTEN FREE. She told me it would take me a year to get my thyroid at a normal level. I went gluten free and switched to armour and I was at a normal level in 1 Month. Don't think about it anymore....JUST DO IT! Get your life back. I have been able to exercise and have lost 8 lbs. in about 1 1/2 months. First time in years! Prayers to all who are suffering.

10 Aug 2010 When my doctor found that I had the Autoimmune disease hypothyroidism, he first prescribed the synthetic Synthroid. . We tried several different doses..did not work...my thyroid was still swollen and I was still experiencing the symptoms. i did research and found this Armour Thyroid. Went back to my doctor and asked for a prescription...it took a second time to raise the doses just a bit...I would not trade Armour for nothing. I feel the best ever since taking Armour thyroid...
