The generic name of this medication are amoxicillin and clavulanate potassium and brand names are amoxicillin and clavulanate potassium.

The active ingredients of this medication are amoxicillin and clavulanate potassium. Inactive ingredients include citric acid, colloidal silicon dioxide, hypromellose, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, polyethylene glycol, sodium starch glycolate, titanium dioxide, and xanthan gum.

It is manufactured by Glaxo Smith Kline.

Mainly used to treat many different infections caused by bacteria, such as sinusitis, pneumonia, ear infections, bronchitis, urinary tract infections, and infections of the skin.

Common Uses:

Mainly used to treat many different infections caused by bacteria, such as sinusitis, pneumonia, ear infections, bronchitis, urinary tract infections, and infections of the skin.

Off Label Uses:

None noted currently.

Side Effects:
Diarrhea that is watery or has blood in it;
Pale or yellowed skin, dark colored urine, fever, confusion or weakness;
Easy bruising or bleeding;
Skin rash, bruising, severe tingling, numbness, pain, muscle weakness;
Agitation, confusion, unusual thoughts or behavior, seizure (convulsions).

Cautions / Warnings:

Not recommended in people with:
Allergic reactions to this medication or any of its ingredients, amoxicillin, or clavulanate potassium;
A history of liver disease (or a history of hepatitis or jaundice);
Kidney disease;
Mononucleosis.

It is also not recommended in pregnant women; women who are planning on becoming pregnant; and nursing mothers.

Drug Interactions:
Allopurinol (Zyloprim);
Probenecid (Benemid); or
Another antibiotic (for the same or for a different infection).
