The generic name of this medication is beclomethasone and brand name is Beconase AQ.
The active ingredient of this medication is beclomethasone.
This medication is used to treat nasal symptoms such as congestion, sneezing and runny nose caused by seasonal or year-round allergies.
Common Uses:
This medication is used to treat nasal symptoms such as congestion, sneezing and runny nose caused by seasonal or year-round allergies.
Off Label Uses:
The off label uses of this medication - is also used to keep nasal polyps from coming back after surgery to remove them.
Side Effects:
Severe or ongoing nose bleed.
Sores in the nose that do not heal.
Wheezing, trouble breathing.
Vision problems.
Fever, chills, body aches, flu symptoms.
Cautions / Warnings:
Not recommended for patients with the following conditions:
In those that are allergic to beclomethasone.
In those that have been sick or had an infection of any kind.
In patients with glaucoma or cataracts.
In patients with herpes simplex virus of eyes.
In patients with sores or ulcers inside the nose.
