Treatment Information
Across a large diverse segment of alternative healing traditions all over the world, the Phyllanthus niruri has a revered spot as an effective herbal remedy. The plant as a whole is used as a palliative and remedy to treat a host of conditions, chiefly the biliary and urinary disorders. Other conditions that are treated with this natural herb are kidney and gallbladder stones, hepatitis, colds, flu, tuberculosis, and other viral infections. Biliary diseases like jaundice and liver cancer are also effectively treated with Phyllanthus niruri. It also works in the treatment of bacterial infections such as cystitis, prostatitis, venereal diseases, and urinary tract infections. It is also known for its diuretic, analgesic, stomachic, antispasmodic, febrifugal, and cell protective properties. Phyllanthus niruri is known to help decrease the amount of hepatitis B virus found in the blood.

20 Feb 2011 went to an Ayurvedic practitioner for help with constant headaches and occasional migraines. She classified me with excess pitta and suggested I start Bhumyamalaki nightly as well as a few other things. It's been about 6-8 weeks and I think my head pain has been reduced and I haven't had any migraines.
