Common Uses:

To reduce the severity of symptoms of menopause.

Off Label Uses:

N/A.

Side Effects:
Stomachache, cramps, skin rash, headache, weight gain, vaginal spotting/bleeding. May worsen existing breast cancer and other hormone-sensitive conditions like endometriosis, ovarian cancer, fibroids, and uterine cancer. May also cause liver or kidney damage.

Cautions / Warnings:

Do not take if you have cancer, heart conditions, high or low blood pressure.

18 Jan 2017	Took for hot flashes, caused horrible gas, boating, along with sever constipation and terrible abdominal pain. 04 Mar 2016	Black Cohash was suggested to me by a nurse for hot flashes from menopause. I bought some and the instructions were to take it twice a day. On the second day I used it, I started having really crazy thoughts, like wanting to hurt my pets and eviscerate myself. I sat in a dark room until that passed, after a few hours, and have never used this again. 27 Jun 2011	Because of my concerns with the liver pain, I googled the side effects and dangers of the black cohosh. It can up just as I thought. I am feeling better with no more hot flashes, but I will stop taking this supplement after reading the dangers.
