Common Uses:

This medication is used to treat pain or inflammation caused by many conditions such as arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and menstrual pain.

Off Label Uses:

None noted currently.

Side Effects:
A blood thinner such as warfarin (Coumadin);
Diuretics (water pills) such as furosemide (Lasix);
Fluconazole (Diflucan);
Lithium (Eskalith, Lithobid).

Cautions / Warnings:

Not recommended for following conditions:
Who are allergic to celecoxib;
Who have a history of heart attack, stroke, or blood clot;
Who have a history of stomach ulcers or bleeding;
Who have asthma.

Drug Interactions:
Chest pain, weakness, shortness of breath, slurred speech, problems with vision or balance;
Black, bloody, or tarry stools;
Coughing up blood or vomit that looks like coffee grounds;
Swelling or rapid weight gain;
Urinating less than usual or not at all.

05 Jul 2011	I use Celebrex for my knee, I have been having knee pain for quite sometime now and using this medication really eased my pain. 27 Sep 2010	I recently began taking celebrex for my carpal tunnel pain. It gives me so much relief when I take it!
