Went to the doctor with an infected leg . I was treated .cleaned the area of infection on the leg and had some antibiotic cream applied. Three days later the leg wound was still infected with bacteria. The doctor prescribed 500mg of Cravit for the leg infection , i was also suffering from an allergy that had started on the same day as i cut my leg and was very apparent from day one when i went to the surgery to have the leg wound treated .The leg infection started to get better after being given Cravit . I then ended up with a secondary allergy from the Cravit pills which was also starting to also kick in . ( Seriously bad news, two allergies ) The doctor did not see the obvious allergy signs from the antibiotic . My condition worsened to severe allergic reaction .My face swelled like a balloon also my hands and feet also legs , my whole body was covered with a raised red rash , the itching was unbearable ! My body also was covered in areas of small weaping blisters the rash was constantly moving around my body and attacking different areas . My limbs were so swollen it felt like the skin was going to split . After three days of this really frightening experience , at one stage i really thought i was going to die . I guessed it must of been the antibiotics after three days of taking them . It was like a nuclear third world war going on inside my body . On the fourth day i told the doctor i was going to stop taking the medication she agreed it might be a good idea . Twenty four hours after i stopped the medication the severe side effects have now started to fade to a point that there are no bad side effects and my body is starting to slowly recover . Please be aware of the symptoms that i had if you take Cravit best of luck

I took half a 500mg tablet to treat a Urinary Tract Infection. Felt nauseous almost straight away, later saw what seemed to be a slight rash on my face which ultimately subsided. Immediately stopped this medication. Have been having leg muscle weakness and pain, as well as pain in my ankle and difficulty walking up stairs, anxiety, shoulder pain, tingling/neuropathy in extremities, and generally feeling a bit dopey/tired since then. I hope that I get better. DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICATION. I am a healthy male with no other known allergies. This stuff is dangerous and I went on the word of a pharmacist, but it turns out this medication is not available for use in USA/Australia and many other developed countries.
