Ive been on Cryselle for almost a month now-- and at first I started feeling nausea after taking it for the first 3weeks, plus horrible bloating that would not go away. Now the nausea & bloating are mild, but Im breaking out even worse ALL over my face. I went on this purposely to get rid of the mild acne I had before, and this is even worse! Everyone is telling me to stay on it for a few more months to let my body adjust, but I'm petrified of having to deal with this side affect. Suggestions?

My suggestion is to get off of this sooner rather than later. I had so many side effects while on this medication. They got worse the longer I took it. I've never had any problems with birth control like I did with Cryselle!! My suggestion is to try Lo-Estrin 24. I'm on it now, and I really like it. Good Luck!!

Since starting this drug, my periods got a lot better. However, I began to notice other symptoms that I had never had and the ones I experienced before got worse. The headaches were the worst ones I had ever endured, I felt short of breath all the time/racing heart/chest pain, and also woke up many times during the night being wide awake. Not getting enough sleep at all. Have never felt so different(not myself) in my life.

I used to be on a different birth control but then I switched to Cryselle. I have been using it for 2 months now and I've noticed an increase in vaginal itching when I haven't been sexually active for 5 months.

I had the same problem plus many other bad side effects. I suggest that you get off this before any other side effects show up. I'm now on Lo-estrin 24 and I love it!!!

This is only my second week on Cryselle, but I must say, I'm pleased. I haven't experienced side effects that were intolerable. The first 2 days I had mild diarrhea and feelings of nausea. After eating bananas, rice and drinking Gatorade, I was completely fine. Sex drive is the same, if not better ;) All in all, I have had a good experience so far.
