31 Jan 2012 Does not seem to work as well as it did in the past, however problem is probably situational.

03 Dec 2011 i was hopeless with thought of suicide, no energy and stayed in be. Cymbalta wakes me up at the crack of dawn with no depression, and I sleep well with the help of Trazadone. The ringing in my ears has 95% gone away that i had for over ten years. I am a little worried about recent problems enuciating , bu I do not know if it caused by Cymbalta. It is a concern. Overall, I Thank the Good lord for giving scientists the ability to come up with this drug. The salty metallic taste in my mouth i cabn counteract with candy and gum,

12 Aug 2011 I took Effexor for depression and I was trying to lower my medication prices because of health insurance. I've been taking it for years with no ill effects, and it was less expensive.

18 Jul 2011 This medicine has really helped my depression and I'm extremely pleased, especially because I haven't had to add any additional antidepressants or increase the dose. However, if for some reason I have to take my dose late or run out I get withdrawal symptoms very quickly. One time I ran out and the "electric shock" feelings were very severe.

16 Jul 2011 I had been on prozac for several years and read cymbalta could actually have a side effect of weight loss instead of gain. So three years ago, I switched to it. During that time, I became much more impulsive, very obsessive, extremely talkative, depersonalized, dissociative, and confused. I developed terrible decision making capabilities and began doing and saying things that alienated me from others. I gained weight, I spent money impulsively...I had constant cold symptoms, severe sweating, painful neruopathy in feet and hands, constant kidney stones, constant kidney infections, bloating, gas, constipation. Emotionally I didn;t feel a thing and could give a crap what anyone did or said to me. I also had intrusive suicidal thoughts that would pop in my head like at any time unrelated to whatever was going on. I had had a wonderful career for 30 years. People were taken aback by my inabiltiy to concentrate. I also began to have terrible vision problems...double vision, blurred vision. Now I have tapered off this poison and am on day five on 0 mgs....I am as sick as anyone coming off of heroin. I am vomiting, diarrhea, brain zaps, cannot process what people are saying, my nose is running, I have muscle spasms, tics...but at least I can think and do not want to kill myself and guess what...I am not depressed....and have lost three lbs already....DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICINE...the only thing helping me with the withdrawals is benedryl, and acupunture, and some anti-seizure medicine because I am having simple partial seizures as part of the withdrawal. Thanks Eli Lily. You suck.
