User Comments about Cymbalta
16 Jun 2009 cymbalta has helped considerably with some sensitivity issues I started experiencing since starting menopause. I have been on an antidepressant for the last 9 years for chronic pain and my body got used to them and they eventually stopped working. Cymbalta seems to work well.

16 Jun 2009 Because I deal with chronic pain an antidepressant was initially prescribed to me about 9 years ago. Since that time I have also started menopause and I started getting more sensitive and weepy and mad at being sick so they changed my medication to Cymbalta and have since increased the dosage to twice what they initially prescribed. I notice a big difference with this drug and feel it has done the trick.

12 Jun 2009 i have been on and off cymbalta for about 4or6 years . its a nightmare to get off of, the one thing i really dread is the twinges im not sure if thats a good way to explain it, i feel like im getting an electrical schock treatment all day. i can turn my head and it happens. if someone comes up behind me to scare me it shocks my system. sorry about the non-medical terms, it obviously upsets me and makes me irritable. IT SUCKS to put it nicely. I am a mother of an 12year old wonderful son hes my inspiration to rid myself of any meds, we as moms&dads have a job to teach them EVEN when we are LITERALLY suffering on the inside, that you must fight your battles without drugs, for me it speaks volumes to them when they see us taking meds for an issue . i stopped the meds 4 days ago and went from 60 mg. to 30 mg and it still physically is so uncomfortable. i hate it for my family but soon it will pay off. with gods help i can and will make, of course my strength is going to be the most telling. i have always wondered why we all told that a pill can fix us, which in turn puts the blame on something we have controll over.we have to try to realize we are our own worst enemy, no its not fun looking at ourselves as we all may say (am i failing?) we are not failing we are given a pill to solve ALL of our problems. if you are reading this and you have discontinued the meds you know your issues are still a problem. as a socioty of peole who are afraid of looking inward , we turn to an automatic fix. speaking for myself i have always been afraid of the truth, and worrried about failing, but taking cymbalta kept me from ever trying. (BAD EXCUSE) i know. if you are struggling with this remember you are an amazing person that probly has a ton of people who love and need you never lose who you are. I told myself the other day CRAZY or not i want claririty for my self and anyone who needs me. god bless all keep you head up you will beat the cymbalta pill crap! remember cymbalta is here for one reason but it gave all of us a 1000000 reasons to put it down. 30 May 2009 I believe I suffered from depression and anxiety for many years before being officaly diagnosed. I finally seeked help when it was affecting my ability to be a good wife and mother. I hoped it would help with my decreased libido but while it did not get worse there was not much of a change. The beginning side effects where a little discouraging but lasted maybe two weeks. I noticed a SIGNIFICANT improvement within those two weeks though. I feel as if I am a different person now. I find joy in waking up and starting my day. I have energy I though I'd never get back. The only thing it has not helped me with is my eating disorder, which I was not expecting it to.

23 May 2009 I have had to go without cymbalta before if I've missed a dose or wasn't able to fill it right away and I notice a huge difference like a withdrawl affect. I will get nervous/anxious, sweaty, fidgity, irritable.
