19 Mar 2009 I've been on Dilantin for about 15 years now. I don't like the side effects at all, especially the memory problems, since they seem to get worse. Sometimes I forget a word in the middle of my sentence, I then getflustered and forget my entire thought. I'm also constantly tired and even though I am only 44 years old, I sometimes feel like my 81 year old mother. However, I've tried five other medications over the last year, and all of those medications have side effects that are worse than those I've been experiencing with Dilantin.
