Common Uses:

This medication is used to treat mild to moderate pain, and also to reduce fever or inflammation. Aspirin is sometimes used to treat or prevent heart attacks, strokes, and chest pain (angina).

Off Label Uses:

None noted currently.

Side Effects:
Black, bloody, or tarry stools;
Coughing up blood or vomit that looks like coffee grounds;
Severe nausea, vomiting, or stomach pain;
Fever lasting longer than 3 days;
Swelling, or pain lasting longer than 10 days; or
Hearing problems, ringing in your ears.

Cautions / Warnings:

Not recommonded for the following condition:
Who are are allergic to aspirin;
Who have a recent history of stomach or intestinal bleeding;
Who have a bleeding disorder such as hemophilia; or
Who have asthma or seasonal allergies; kidney disease.

Drug Interactions:
Advil;
Motrin;
Aleve;
Rudis;
Indocin;
Lodine.
