Enalapril has worked wonders for me. I developed high blood pressure in pregnancy that became WORSE after delivery. After 3 other medicines, this is the only one that has controlled it. I have however developed a mild itch that is driving me crazy and wonder if it can be attributed to this prescription. It did start shortly after I began taking Enalapril.

SINCE TAKING ENALAPRIL, I HAVE BEEN EXPERIENCING SWALLOWING PROBLEMS THAT FEEL LIKE MY THROAT GOES INTO A SPASM, HOLDING THE FOOD UNTIL THE SPASM GOES AWAY,. SOMETIMES, IT IS VERY PAINFUL, AND I CANNOT EVEN SWALLOW LIQUID.
