I took Esipram by mistake thincking that it was valim And over a period of about 2 days i took 6, 20 mil tablets. I have a serous liver plobem and now my liver hurts in my chest but a very myled I also had all the other side affects which when i went to hospital they told me that they i will ok in 12-14 hours but i didn't ask the doctor if the tablets can cause more damage to my liver. I'm ok now apart from my liver. Has this tablet done some serous damage to my liver?

I took Esipram for about 4 months but lost my job & things went further downhill so i stopped almost cold turkey. I felt that all they were doing is making me impotent, as I am always highly sexual but felt no desire at all after taking Esipram. Also, since I have stopped (5 days now) I have been having AWFUL disturbing dreams at night, one of them being that I shot my pregnant sister in the stomach then in the head... just stuff you'd never think about & I'm not a violent person at all. Basically Esipram did take the edge off the depression but I'd rather be depressed than not have any sexual urges, and I can surely do without the nightmares at night! Another thing I am feeling this strange dizziness as well after coming off them. I know it should've been gradual but was basically sick of my crap life and told my Doc I didn't want them anymore. I don't want to go to sleep tonight knowing I'll dream some terrible stuff again... My best way to ease depression is to be with people you love to be with - the friends that make you laugh, and listen to the music that makes you happy. Stay away from people u don't like and situations you don't want to be in (eg. large crowds etc, if u have anxiety as well).

Esipram has worked for me. Two months ago I started taking a generic brand and within 4 weeks all the symptoms of depression had returned. It was very scary.
