20 Sep 2011 I have been using Flomax for two years. At first took every day. After the first couple of days, I noticed I was better able to empty my bladder, allowing for fewer trips to the toilet. Also, in the first two days, I experienced the side effect of very strong erections, both when waking up and with normal sexual stimulation. Felt like I'd taken Viagra. This was great, even with the related reduction of ejaculate volume. Then the frequency and strength of erections subsided. to less than before I started taking Flomax. After 1 1/2 years, I began taking the Flomax every other day. Soon, I noticed the same improved erection situation - usually within about 4-8 hours of taking the Flomax (I take it at bedtime). So what a nice side effect. As for my urination, I do notice when it's been almost two days since my last Flomax tablet, because my flow is decreased. The volume and viscosity of my ejaculations have not returned, but the feeling of orgasm is just fine. No other side effects. I'd say Flomax works for increasing urinary flow, I use the generic, which is much cheaper.

04 Aug 2011 I've been using Flomax now for a week. The pain has reduce but the frequeny and urgency for urinating has not reduced. Maybe its to early to tell. Side effects include dizziness (manageble), low sex drive & abnormal ejaculation.

29 Nov 2010 i have been using flomax for twenty days,there was a very good difference to urine flow at night for the first week,after that it seems to have levelled of.maybe i have not been taking flomax long enough for a proper analysis.
