04 May 2012 Prescibed Flucloxacillin for abcess from pianidal sinus, relieved pain within 2 days, only side effects were good. Digestive system working better than ever, no bloating or stomach pain for 2 weeks. Hope it continues

19 Apr 2012 I have been taking it for a bladder infection. It seems to have helped it. I get horrible indigestion before bed when I take it at that time. Other than that, this medicaton is fine. I take Motilium with it to stop nausea but even the nausea isn't that bad. Give it ago, it's good.

05 Apr 2012 I was given Flucloxacillin after a skin tare on my ankle became infected (a 7cm long tare caused by a shaving razor, not to make anyone's stomach turn but the full length of skin came out of the razor in one piece. Initially went to see the practice nurse who said it was not infected, she was very wrong), very swollen and very sore. After the first 24 of taking Flucloxacillin (500mg - 4 times a day) I started to feel dreadful and really thought I might be coming down with the flu but no obvious head symptoms like a runny nose turned up so I have put it down to the antibiotic. I am now half way through my course of week and feel so lethargic and nauseous all the time I really can't do anything expect lay in bed. I have also developed really bad muscle aches and pains just about everywhere and a muscle spasm in my lower left back, I have suffered with pain in my lower left side for years and have had my kidneys checked many times as I am a type 1 diabetic so I know it is not that, but the pain has gotten so bad I can barely move and can not get comfortable! I haven't slept properly since starting the course and my appetite is really minimal and feel sick all the time. My head is so fuzzy that even writing the is a chore and I'm used to touch typing daily at work. I am going to finish the course mainly because of my diabetes and the complications that can develop because of an infection in someone with diabetes. But honestly if I wasn't diabetic I think I would stop and see what happens.

24 Feb 2012 reading these reviews put me at ease. i had very bad acid reflux towards end of course, finished course now and its all cleared up
