18 Oct 2017 I take low ogestrel 28 to help treat PMDD. It is not prescribed to me for birth control since I had my tubes tied almost 10 yrs ago. I skip the placebo week and opt out of having my period 3 months at a time and the 4th month I take the placebo pills and my period will begin. Haven't had any problems with this medication to report of.

17 Aug 2016 i switched to this birth control last year and 1 month in I started to notice ALOT of hair loss. The only thing I could attribute it to was this medication as everything else stayed the same. I quit taking it a month later and noticed my hair starting to grow back. The hair loss was pretty significant and noticeable and very depressing. My hair now a year later is finally growing back in and I've never had a problem with hair loss since I stopped taking it. I do not see a lot of reports of this medication causing this symptom, but I am sure they were correlated. I hope nobody else has this issue.
