07 Jul 2012 I was wondering if others have experienced what I did when I went hiking to 11,000 ft elevation on a ten day backpacking trip? I would have episodes of not being able to get enough air, feel dizzi, and have heart palpatations. I've never had altitude pfoblems even at 13,000 feet. I would have to lie down on the trail then would recover some but had repeared episodes. Also, the next winter when I was skiing I had sever thigh cramps and never had that before either!!

05 Jan 2012 I've used Metformin for about two years now. I have PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome), and was prescribed Metformin in order to help me keep my weight down and decrease my apatite; I am also on birth control. Both pills are keeping my menstrual cycle regular. The only thing that is bothersome about Metformin is that, for the first few days when starting up the pills, I get nauseous and have an upset stomach/diarrhea, but it's nothing that Pepto-Bismol can't handle.
