21 Jul 2015 I went to the doctor tor congestion and he gave me this steroid for the first time. I took the first 6-4mg of a 6 day plan and stopped after the first dose because at first I was wired so high, I couldn't sleep or stop talking! The next day my heart was racing and I started to hear music and talking that was not there. Then later that night I started seeing things that were not there! Horrible and very scarey. I have no history of mental illness or anything near this dramatic in my health. I was not aware of this possibilitly at all. While it may help many, I think the risk is great enough to require further testing and definity, large warnings! I am also a controled diabetic and my sugar shot way up into the 400's! My doctor did warn me about that part but said it shouldn't be a problem!? Do not play with your health. Be proactive and don't take the first thing people recommend for you without some research.

07 Jul 2010 Was given this cortisone pack for a nerve complication after back surgery. It works, but hard on the stomach. You definitely have to eat something with each dose.

21 Jun 2010 Originally had severe soar throat, high temp, and fluid in ear. Received amoxilcillan and cleared up fever but still had spots then got cough. Tried augmentin and that didn't help, though upset my stomach. Trying to get rid of a cough I had for a month and fluid in the ear. I didn't want a 3rd antibiotic so was recommended I try this. If this didn't work then will try Biaxin XL PAC.
