16 Oct 2011 Though Nicoderm CQ helped curb my desire for cigarettes, I started having heart palpitations on a regular basis, usually starting later in the day. I also noticed that I was not passing gas normally, maybe passing it once or twice a day and I could tell that it seemed to be stuck in the upper part of my small intestines. I began to research reasons for these symptoms and it was all over the board. Then yesterday I forgot to wear my patch, I was planning on putting it on when I got home but never did. That evening I realized that I had not had trouble passing gas and I had not had a single heart palpitation. I will not use this product again. Luckily I used it long enough to stop smoking and don't plan to start back.

30 Dec 2010 I have never smoked and am trying nicotine patches to reduce/prevent Behcet's Disease oral ulcers. The patches work wonderfully at preventing oral ulcerations. However, 7mg dose allows tiny sore spots to develop, but they disappear without ulcerating. Now I am wearing each 7mg patch for 36 hours, but putting on a new patch every 24 hours to slightly increase the dose. This has eliminated all oral inflammation, sores and ulcerations included..

09 Jul 2010 seems to work well, i will say though do not Yank the patch off take it off slowly i cause skin bruse yanking one off like tape it seems to make my skin very fragile after use When i did yank off of one the patches the far end the last part to come off in the thank put a straight line bruse showing blood under the skin simlar to being hit hard and getting a bruse

20 Feb 2009 A lot of my symptoms could be related to me stopping smoking and not to NicoDerm CQ. My chest hurts but not a caving in feeling, rather a bruised feeling. As the day progresses I feel less anxious. I smoked 13 ciggerettes per day and still think that Step 1 is giving me too much nicotine.
