I've been taking this JUNK for 6 to 9 months and have gained at least 20lbs. I couldn't figure out why I was gaining so much weight when my activities and diet had not changed. I have noticed an increase in appetite and get cramps before and after my period. No excessive bleeding issues but I am not taking this crap anymore starting today. I might as well be pregnant at 40 years old because I have gained as much weight as if I was. Stir clear of this crap! Now I have to figure out how to lose the 20 plus lbs. I've gained!

I went off this drug this morning and am looking forward to not bleeding for a month straight at a time (I think of the 3 ½ months i've been on it, i've bled for 2 ½ - 3 months). I certainly won't miss severe mood swings (or crying jags). I have't gained weight - but i've had a tough time loosing it. I wonder how long it will take for my system to get back to "normal".

Worst birth control ever! My midwife gave me this after thr birth of my son. I started taking it on June4th and I have been bleeding on and off since then. Just when I think its over it starts right back up. Not to mention acne and mood swings like you would not believe. I'll go back to nuvaring.
