26 Apr 2011 It definitely worsens the rosacea. Certainly, does absolutely zero for outbreaks - except to exacerbate them. I am strongly considering filing a formal complaint about it with the FDA. My face is a mess with red blotches and that piece of garbage medicine does nothing!!

20 Apr 2011 I have severe racea. So far the medication seems to be helping a bit but the side effects make it difficult to continue taking this medication. I'm not certain if the side effects are due to the other prescriptions I'm taking. The bone pain is primarily at night and is so severe that I'm up most of the night. The pain is not as frequent during the day.

14 Mar 2011 2 weeks taking oracea, my skin looks and feels very soft redness is deminishing and so is the burning sensation it is less frequent.

27 Oct 2009 This drug is a poison. It causes the conditions it's supposed to prevent. I never had a problem with flushing or redness before taking this. I had one broken blood vessel and that was it. Since taking it my face turned into a burning mess, and my lips are still messed up (I have to put vaseline on them about 5 times a day every day), and I don't sweat out of my face as much. I took this for 2 years, and 3 years later I'm still suffering from the side effects. Don't believe me? Read the bottle. Nowhere does it say the side effects are temporary. Doctor doesn't believe it, ask him to take it for 2 years, then watch him/her hem and haw and say how that isn't really necessary. If you have red skin, you have red skin, it's not a disease. Learn from my mistake avoid this drug like the plague. If someone tells you how great this drug is ask them how long they've been taking it, I doubt you'll find anyone whose taken it two years and likes what it's doing to them.
