06 Jan 2013 I like Paxil at first. But I have been on it so long I do believe my body is use to it, so its not working as well as before.

27 Nov 2012 I was put on Paxil for panic disorder. The anxiety was so bad, I became agoraphobic and couldn't leave my house. I was very reluctant to take it, but I am so glad I did. It's now four months later and I am going out of town on day trips. My anxiety is almost completely gone. I even registered for college next semester. I went from being stuck in my house in fear of the world to a completely different person in just a short amount of time. I'm actually getting things done, for once. I only want to slap myself for not seeking help sooner. I have only gained 5 pounds since starting it and I also stopped exercising and I eat like crap (because I'm happier), so I think I would have gained the 5 pounds regardless. No change in sexual performance. I'm still as horny as ever and I can get off. I actually can't think of any side effects, but then I am only on 10 mg.

10 Jan 2012 I was very lucky to have no side effects. I started taking it when I was 14 and remember feeling a little drowsy the first couple of times I took it, but other than that I had no obvious side effects while on it. I was very heavy in high school and have since lost 60 pounds, but I can't say if that is because of Paxil or not. The only other thing I have to report is if I missed a day's does, I had withdrawal symptoms. I can only describe them as feeling like small electric shocks. Sometimes they're referred to as "brain zaps".

09 Nov 2011 I loved Paxil for the intened use to control my mood swings, but I recently stopped taking it and had MAJOR withdrawl and it was HORRIBLE!!!! I then had to start weening myself off to reduce the withdrawl symptoms to a bearable level. Since then I have done MUCH better getting off the meds.
