User Comments about Preterax
25 Sep 2014 I use 2mg Preterax + Indapamide 0.625mg (this is what is written on the box) I feel it could be more effective in keeping my BP normal, sometimes is would increase the dosage for greater effectiveness. My left ankle and calf are swollen all the time, but not sure if Preterax is responsible for swelling. I think the medicine is more positive than negative

12 Jun 2013 I have been taking Preterax for over 9 yrs. I am very impressed with this medication's effectiveness in managing my hypertension. I have not experienced any negative side effects at all. I have noticed one positive side effect; I often make presentations to large audiences. Prior to taking Preterax, i would always have some level of 'nerves' when starting these presentations. When using Preterax, I have NO 'nerves' associated with these. This is a very good medication.

01 Jun 2013 My doctor changed my high blood pressure to Preterax about three years ago. I use one tablet per day. My problem is that I do not really experience any side effects, or so I thought. firstly, every time i record my pressure, I do not ever get a normal reading, my pressure is always slightly elevated. At no time over the past three years have I ever gotten a good reading as when i used the last tablet which does not come to my country any more.Secondly, I am a menopausal woman, but I believe that this tablet is causing me to become a little anxious, and has increased my feelings of being rushed, also may be causing me to have inner emotional thought pattern., In essence, the tablet has some how help to increase those inner emotional symptoms. I have been noticing these changes and will be visiting my doctor to have my medication changed. I will then observe to see if there are any changes in these menopausal patterns which is what i consider to be very mild.
