User Comments about Prozac
29 Jun 2015 It helps at the begining, but afterwards you pay it back. Why do you pay it back? Because while you are on prozac, you don't care about your problems and it makes you unable to solve them, and grow as a person solving them. Also when I stopped it, I was fine for 2 months and then I felt worse than ever for 6/7 months. Nothing is free, and taking this drug is proven to work in the short term, but there are not studies that prove that it's good in the long term.

13 Sep 2012 Prozac (generic) actually works for me! I'm much calmer, the panicky feelings have dissipated by about 75-80% and I am now able to go to work DAILY and function. Lexapro, Lamictal, Celexa, and Zoloft didn't work for me. Welbutrin worked somewhat. Tranxene helped my anxiety too until I tapered off. My advice? Prozac is at least worth a try ;).

15 Mar 2012 If it were'nt for the severe sexual side effects this would be the perfect medication for me. It's the only SSRI that makes me feel mentally balanced and gives me an over all feeling of well being. Unfortunately, I may have to discontinue taking the Prozac due to NO sex drive and complete inability to achieve orgasm. I have been married for 8 years and this is putting quite a damper on my relationship. Other than that I love what prozac does for me mentally, but I have to weigh the pro's and con. Thank you.

02 Jan 2012 didn't seem to work at all. Just made me feel like a zombie. Mental clarity was severely decreased.
