24 Sep 2013 I feel I have been on tis too long as it was to rid myself of addiction to norco. It worked, however I continued to take it for energy and well being, although i wonder how much is psychological. i have now developed hyperthyroidism and also had knee surger this year to remove pvns. i think this should be a short term drug.It did relieve my need to overtake other opiods.

31 May 2013 Good if you need to stop stealing or getting arrested, but for addiction it just switches. I wish I hadn't taken it in the first place.

24 Sep 2012 Only been on it for a week, so am waiting to see what the long term experiences are. The best plus about it is that I am no longer in Chronic Pain. In about an hour, all the pain was gone! I am still having some problems getting used to it, but going to stick to my 8 mg per day until I go back to dr in October. Am not craving the Opiates and Benzos I was on either.

18 Dec 2011 I have been on Suboxone for about 6 months now because of my past drug addiction. My doctor has me on 8 ml pills, 3 times a day. Which is a lot and I only take it when I need it (cold sweats, ect.) I am grateful for this drug because now I no longer addicted to opiates even if I am now addicted to the Suboxone. For the past 5/6 months I have been getting UTI (Urinary Tract Infections) AT LEAST once a month. I had to even go to the hospital because of it. They found something wrong in my ovary and told me that was what was causing it. It's been almost 3 weeks now (another month) and I have ANOTHER horrible UTI. It just dawned on me that it may be the Suboxone that I have been taking, it would make sense with the timing of these infections. Has anyone else experienced UTIs while taking this drug? Would switching to Subutex help the infections? There is no way I can go cold turkey off of suboxone but these UTI are so painful. I have no idea what to do.

03 Feb 2013 im going to let u in on a little secret I've been using to prevent UTIs for the past 8 years. Since using this shocking home remedy I have not had one in so long I've forgotten how painful they are! Soooo....here is my amazing secret cure. Alkaseltzer! Yes, I wouldn't lie. Regular origional alkaseltzer, nothing fancy. Now, the only way it will take the UTI away is u must drink it a small glass of water at the very onset of the infection otherwise it won't work. That first bad feeling u get is when u mix water with 2 tablets or one packet and make sure to drink every bit. I recommend drinking it as fast as u can. Repeat this in 4 hours and the next day...u r cured!!! You're welcome!
