19 Mar 2009 I am only commenting on really effective or really ineffective drugs. Most pain relievers, aside from aspirin for minor pain, are pretty ineffective, and in my judgement, neither society nor enough of the medical profession view pain as an important enough issue. Aside from individual subjective experiences re the importance of pain, I believe it is a very important modulator of stress, and thereby total well-being and prognostic health.
