19 May 2010 Trileptal has been overall a life changing drug for me. I have had the occasional breakthrough seizure while on the medication, but not nearly as many as I had before I started taking it. I am very satisfied with trileptal.

26 Apr 2009 The first few days I took Trileptal I felt "drunk" but that vanished within the first week. Cognitive side effects such as severely not being able to remember words and short term memory loss were severe the first few months, but tapered off so that after the first 6 months I wasn't and am still not sure if it's the Trileptal or getting older (45) that's causing the now mild effects.
