User Comments about Trivora
10 Apr 2013 I have only been taking Trivora for 2 weeks. I noticed almost immediately that I started to change. I am moody, emotionally needy, nervous about everything, wanted to cry all the time, loss of appetite.... After the first week I was suicidal. I only started taking (bc) because my boyfriend and I were getting more serious.

07 Nov 2011 I have gotten pain with peeing right after i start taking the month. I waited 2 weeks to go to the doctor and they said it was not a yeast infection or a UTI! And now the symptoms are happening again.

29 Sep 2011 I was on Trivora (or generic) for like 11 years. It honestly changed me as a person... when I was on it i was not the real me.. it is a triphasic pill as opposed to mono or biphasic... which just means it puts three different levels or hormones into your system during the three weeks a month you are on it. So one week i would be OK... next week I would be MOODY as heck... next week I would get aggravated at EVERYTHING under the sun. Like DONT BOTHER ME... even if someone was trying to help me. Looking back now.. having been off it for 6 months I see the difference. I was not ME... it is scary what pills do to you and your personality. I would get mad at anything before, where now I let it roll off my back.It also decreased my sex drive a lot. I tried Apri (MONOphasic) few months after and not as bad...but those added hormones made some of the same things return...heightened annoyance levels... etc. UGHHHH Let's get this men's BC pill out there already! Does anyone have a pill in mind that has worked best to avoid my problems?

12 Jan 2011 Within my first month and a half on Trivora I have already experienced extreme sleepiness, severe mood swings, random migrains, I want to or do cry at least twice a day, my acne hasn't cleared a bit, my vagina is producing an odd odor, and I seem to be gaining weight in my stomach area. I can't seem to get a break! Hopefully its only this way because my body still needs to adjust to the change.

09 Mar 2010 I started this birth control mainly because I was moving in with my boyfriend. Since I have started it I have NO sex drive and I have gained 40 lbs since I've been on it. My prescription is over after this month and you can bet that I am changing birth control ASAP!!
