Pills are difficult to swallow and are expensive. Help relieve my cold sores. No side effects were experienced.

The dosage that was prescribed for me was probably not strong enough, so i liked it when i first started using it, but then my coldsores just got much worse after taking it and my doctor didn't prescribe me enough so i was forced to switch, for money and less pill taking.

When I first started taking Valtrex I noticed a slight bit of fatigue and a little head ache. This went away after continued use and the medication works wonderfully for me. If you do have a breakout, it doesn't get as bad as it could were you not on the medicine and it doesn't last as long.
