07 Jul 2010 I was given this prior to my back surgery. I dont remember any of the surgery and I didnt feel anything during the surgery.

05 Apr 2010 I was forced to take this drug for a colonoscopy after I vehemently told the Dr that I didn't want it and to use a painkiller and not an amnesiac. He told me he knew best and just used Versed. I have IBS, I was wide awake in excrutiating pain, tears were running down my face and I tried to scream that I felt like a weedwhacker was turned on inside of me, but I was totally paralized!!! I could feel the tears, and I tried to reach out, I tried to scream but I was unable to. You want to talk about midevil torture, this was like being put in a Iron Maiden. I've told everyone I know not to let anyone give them Versed for anything. The doctor lied to me and told me it was a pain killer....Versed has NO pain killing properties at all. It is supposed to cause amnesia....I can't believe the medical profession would use this drug w/o a painkiller or for all at that matter. I've never had a worse experience in my life, I wear a medic alert bracelet, and have on all of my health records that I'm allergic to this poison. I never want to be given this again, nor I will I allow it to be given to anyone in my family. Whoever approved this drug for use should have to go through what I went through.

05 Apr 2010 don't ever let a dr or dentist give you this drug. it totally ruined my life. I haven't been the same person for 19 years now. I wouldn't even let the vet use this on my dog when she was spayed. This drug never should have been approved by the FDA, it's dangerous!!!

05 Apr 2010 This drug gave me Post Trumatic Stress Disorder and a good 15 years of permanent memory loss. It should be banned from use on human's and animals. This drug literally ruined my life, I'm a virtual basket case. If a doctor or dentist ever wants to use this for any reason, REFUSE IT AT ALL COSTS!!! This drug is dangerous and never should have been approved by the FDA.

26 Jul 2009 I ahte this medicine. The doctor gave it to me as a muscle relaxant, but it is a lowering blood pressure medicine. So it clearly didn't work for me. It caused too much pain, and all my muscles tensed up.
