The active ingredient of this medication is hydrocodone narcotic analgesic and aspirin or acetaminophen.
Mainly used to treat moderate-to-moderately severe pain.
This drug is being manufactured by Abbott Labs.

28 Nov 2011 Vicodin has done wonders for my chronic knee pain, and I generally tolerate it well, however, I fear it is addictive and I notice changes in my mood (i.e. crankiness) when I don't take the drug. One should consider carefully whether the positive effects merit the dependence on an addictive drug...

21 Nov 2011 Vicodin made my pain go away better than any prescription analgesic has. It does make me lightheaded though, so I would have to be at home to use it. I used it for my wisdom teeth being removed, and it worked brilliantly.
