04 Mar 2012 I've only been using Vivelle for about 4 weeks, but so far I've noticed my hot flashes have basically stopped and my mood is a lot better - my breasts have been more tender, but nothing I can't deal with considering it's helping my hot flashes!

11 Nov 2011 I had to have a total hysterectomy due to endometriosis before the age 35. This medication has saved me from nights of hot flashes and mood swings. If used as prescribed. I have forgotten to change my patch and notice the difference within 24hrs.I just wish that this patch last for a week instead of 72hrs. I have tried the other patches, but they do not stick very well, so I was unable to determine if that patch would work for me and plus it was larger and noticeable. Vivelle is a clear dot and not noticeable.

15 Oct 2011 I've developed a lump in my breast since using the patch. I also have sharp pains in both my breasts since using the patch. My vision has become extremely blurred and I have to wear glasses since using the patch. I've been using Vivelle for about 14 months now. It helps with hot flashes, but the price is too high to pay since my vision is still decreasing. I'm going to stop using it.

05 Apr 2011 I have had HRT for 17 years and never experienced menopausal symptoms. Early it was Premarin and Povera before the trans dermal became available. So I've used Vivelle-Dot and Prometrium longer than most and have been satisfied. Except for the weight gain, I have thrived with it, staying active, healthy, and alert. I'm just 75 and will go off HRT now; I' actually tired of having a menstrual cycle each month like clockwork. It's time to retire and age gracefully, ..but thanks for the many great years.
