26 Feb 2015 The next morning after first dose I had diarreah. Is this how it's going to be everyday?

02 Jul 2014 I started taking Yacon when it was shown on the Dr Oz show, not for weight loss, but for the "side effect" of making loose stools as I as constipated. I take two teaspoons (one is the recommended dose) in my coffee or prune juice. I can be sure to have a bm within about 2 to 3 hours. I worry about what it is doing to my digestive system. I stopped for 4 days to see if I could have a regular bm and on the 4th day, there was some activity. I can't wait 4 days, so I started again. I guess my main question is, is it SAFE for me. I am 77 yrs. old, female.
