Warnings
The generic name of this medication is sertraline and brand name is Zoloft.
Zoloft Active Ingredients: sertraline hydrochloride.
Zoloft is manufactured and marketed by Pfizer Inc.
Mainly used in the treatment of depression or obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD).
Common Uses:
This medication is used in the treatment of depression or obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). It may also be used to treat panic disorder or post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
Off Label Uses:
The off label uses of this medication are:
May be used to treat premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD)a severe form of premenstrual syndrome.
May be used in the treatment of social anxiety disorder.
Side Effects:
Anxiety
Constipation
Decreased sexual desire or ability
Diarrhea
Dizziness
Drowsiness
Dry mouth
Increased sweating

Trouble sleeping

Cautions / Warnings:
Not advisable in patients that are allergic to any ingredient in Zoloft.
Not advisable in patients that are taking or have taken a monoamine oxidase inhibitor.
Not advisable in patients that are taking a fenfluramine derivative.
Not advisable during pregnancy, pre-pregnancy and in nursing mothers.
Drug Interactions:
Anorexiants(eg phentermine)
Fenfluramine derivatives(eg dexfenfluramine)
Anticoagulants(eg warfarin)
Diuretics(eg furosemide, hydrochlorothiazide)
Tramadol
H1 antagonists (eg astemizole, terfenadine)
Carbamazepine or cyproheptadine
Aripiprazole, clozapine, digoxin

Zoloft is amazing for panic disorder and anxiety! Although it will take 2 to 4 weeks to work, but it is worth it. Might feel worse the first two weeks. It even keeps my heart rate at a normal pace, without it I have severe tachycardia. Only complaint is daytime fatigue, but that is better than daily panic attacks. Best dosage I've found that works is 100mg daily.

I haven't had a lot of side effect. mainly just nausea, headaches irritability on day 1 that was bad. but not sure what its doing to my eyes. blurred vision and pain in left eye.
