I have been on lipitor since Dec. 2008 and I was having pain in my legs. I told my Doctor in March 2009 the last time and he reassured me that it was unlikely to be lipitor. I continued to take it until April 26, 2009. Days before the pain had gotten so bad that I couldn't sleep, stand ,walk or sit. When I was still I had a dull throbbing pain in my muscles. Advil helps alleviate my menstrual cramps and I feel works best if taken before major cramps set in. I usually take 2 pills when I begin to feel a slight 'tinge' of pain and when taken early enough, I don't experience as intense cramping as usual.
