i was actually diagnosed with PCOS which would lead to diabetes. This medicine regulated my suger quite effectively and allowed my body to regulate and reduce the symptoms of PCOS thereby keeping me from becoming diabetic.

Have been taking Topamax for about 5 years for migraines. At one point I was up to 300 mg/day but am now down to 200 mg/day. This medication has been challenging at times. I have experienced all the typical side effects to varying degrees. The most challenging side effect for me is the speech aphasia that I experience. they are depressing me ,and giving me a lot of hot flushes.The only thing which is bugging me is my complexion !!!i have been taking them now for 4 months and 8 days.

JUst started this med. Any comments would help. P.S Ian also thating this medication with "Keppra" and Mysoline". These med are taken for a Epilespy. If anyone knows of "bad" interactions with theses 3 Medications ,please post a comment. Thanks.
