I take Ibuprofen OTC for headaches, body aches, cold/flu, joint pain, etc. I usually take 400-600 mg and it is wonderful because it helps with pain and inflammation with NO side effects. When I had my wisdom teeth pulled out I preferred taking 800 mg ibuprofen over tylenol, darvocet, hydrocodone, and percocet. Turmeric is a common South Asian spice found in the kitchen of many Indian homes (making it very accessible). Known as an Ayurvedic (traditional & natural Indian medicine) medicine, turmeric is actually a plant that carries many alleviating properties--one of which is an antibacterial agent thus making it ideal as an antiseptic. Solodyn has been and still is terrible to me the last two weeks. I only took it 3weeks. I was not taking any other meds. No one could tell me why i was sick. 3 different doctors so many test. fever,chills,sweats,enlarged liver,fatigue, not eating, terrible itchy rashes.
