I have been taking lasix for over seventeen years. It is a diarhetic because it pulls teh potassium out of my body. So I need additional potassium to balance it out. It makes me photosensitive from the sun, so I have to wear long sleves to protect myself.

I take Tums for extra calcium, but I recommend not taking them on an empty stomache; typically, if I do, I experience (very minor) stomache pains.

For me, kava works wonders for my sometimes debilitating anxiety. Non-addictive, and does not cloud my thinking. However, I usually take more than whatever the recommended dose on the bottle says. No side effects, other than if you take "too much", sometimes you can feel a little tired the next day, and/or not sleep as well in the morning. I had a bad cold/sinus infection. I went to the doctor and he said I had Bronchitis, a Sinus Infection, and Ear Infection. He prescribed me with Zithromax and it works fast. I recommend it for anyone else who has what I have.

Previous to Prozac I had taken Effexor XR for about 6 years for anxiety. I was switched from Effexor XR to Prozac because of the headaches I got while taking Effexor, but I've still noticed the headaches with Prozac, and I've had so much more anxiety. I'm starting the transition to Cymbalta tomorrow, wish me luck!

I've taken Solodyn for approx. 45 days. I now have permanent blue/gray tooth discoloration that I am incredibly upset about. My teeth used to be beautiful and now they look like the color of a fish. It was pretty subtle so I didn't notice it right away and when I did I thought maybe it was staining from red wine.
