I too am hyperthyroid. I was prescribed carbimazole and had an allergic reaction with a skin rash which erupted within days. I then was prescribed PTU, propylithouacil which I initially took at a very high dosage, namely 12 tablets/day and after several weeks lost my taste completely and had bad headaches. My consultant reduced the dosage to two/day after 2 months as I had gone underactive. I gradually regained my taste but then developed pains in my arms so bad I couldn't sleep on my sides... I am happy with it, don't get me wrong, but I just wish I wouldn't have become another person to not get panic attacks. I've gotten a really bad short term memory, and numb feelings. I get confused a lot too, not knowing what to chose, or what to do, periods like that, not really all the time.

The only thing I have to complain about is the headache/migraine side effects that I experienced when I first began taking it. I'm only nervous about potential long-term side effects that I've read about.

This supplement wasn't one of my favorites. Even though I did recover quickly after workouts, and though I noticed more definition, I think the majority of it was water weight (I gained a lot of weight very quickly when I started using it). I know that many people swear by this stuff, but I don't think I would recommend it. Being able to eat after a workout is more important than creatine intake.
