Started taking Topamax on vacation to gradually get up to full dose. Went very slowly--got to full dosage at about 4 weeks. I lost weight, but tried to stick with it because the migraines were so bad, but it only reduced them a little bit. At around the 4-5 week mark I was sitting in my living room feeling semi-suicidal and decided I should read the fine print on the side effects. Horrible joint pain, to the point I could not stand or walk. Took my nephrologist to discover it was the med and immediately took me off of this. They say that the damage should not be permanent, but it's been 6 weeks and my hip is still very painful, although improved. VERY frustrating!!!

Cymbalta has altered my WHOLE life. I feel like I am in CYMBALTA PRISION with no way out. I had been on Cymbalta for almost 4 weeks and I am OFF Cymblta for 4 HELLISH weeks tomorrow (9/16/08) . This drug had got to be watched. I took this drug for nerve pain and ended up LODSING MY JOB

I take adderall 20mg in the evenings to study and for late night classes. I take vyvanse in the morning and it usually lasts until about 4pm. The adderall holds me over for the rest of the evening. I would take adderall more often but I hate that the effects only last 4-5 hrs and I do not want to have to take medicine 3-4 times a day. The side effects were intense when I first began the medication (especially appetite loss, and dry mouth) but they have decreased significantly with time. Also,... View full comment

I used to take Claritin before it was over-the-counter (after which it failed to work for me) and I also tried Zyrtec, which never really worked for me. Out of all of the allergy medications I've used, Allegra appears to be most effective for my seasonal allergies although it is not quite as effective for my animal allergies.
