I have always been very bad about taking a pill daily (especially at the same time) so my doctor put me on nuvaring. I was very uncomfortable about the idea of putting it in and taking it out at first but it has not been an issue. Once you put it in you rarely ever feel it. Phenergan + Codeine

Phenergan with codeine was prescribed to me when I had an upper respiratory infection (a cold). I had a very bad cough and bad congestion. I only took it at night because it had a significant drowsiness effect on me. I had to take more than the recommended amount to notice an effect on my cough- and I didn't feel like it was much more effective than over the counter products- except for putting me to sleep. I really like Tylenol for pain relief but people have told me that it can cause dramatic liver damage as a result of taking too much too regularly, which it is easy to do.

I had taken Marax in the mid 70s and as a 16 year old "in charge" of her medication, I probably took more than prescribed and suffered severe anxiety attacks. Sometimes so debilitating, I wanted to jump out of my skin. Then I would crash and thought I was going to die. After Marax, was Theophylline and I was not introduced to inhalers until probably the late 80s or 90s. In the late 80s I went to an ENT, who recommended I take Sudafed for sinus drip.
