I used Levora (Nordette generic) for over 5 years and it was great. However, I really like the idea of less periods. I have only taken it for a few weeks so I am not sure yet how I feel about Seasonique. I have expereinced some pretty extreme anxiety which I cannot attribute to any external situations (things are actually pretty calm in my life right now). I have osteo arthritis and bone on bone in my knees. Previously, I took Glucosamine-Chondritin/MSM or Alleve and didn't get anywhere near the good results and had to be concerned about liver damage. I would advise some users to cut back their dosage if they are getting heart palpitations. Four per day sounds waaay to high.

M/W/A 57yrs 6'+ 235lbs, was put on Simcor Sept 2010, due for first CBC since medication started next week. My triglycerides were through the roof, 500+, LDL was only 179, but HDL was in the basement, so DR put me on 1000-20 Simcor. He warned me of the "flushing" as he put it, and wanted me to take it at bedtime to limit this side effect. I have been experiencing vomiting and a little of diarrheal since using Candex. I thought I had food poison or something. I can't deal with these side effects, so I'm going to stop taking it.

I've been taking levora for 1 and 1/2 months and have noticed a change in my personality. My self-confidence has lowered, I always feel fatigued, and overall depressed. I have noticed mood swings and headaches. I'm going to stop taking levora because I don't feel like myself at all, i just want to be happy and energetic again. I have light headedness but it is improving. I have noticed a decrease in my hematocrit but do not know if it is caused by the diuretic effect. I have also noticed a slight weight increase.
