Very pleased with the med. I fought depression for many years and took Prozac which help considerably. I began to develop dysphoria. I found no enjoyment from anything so weekends and nights were very boring and I started drinking to kill the boredom. My doctor started me on Aplenzin. I saw it at Wal-mart and thought I would try it because prescription meds (acyclovair, Valtrex) really bother my stomach. I chewed 3 Herplex after a blister started in the corner of my mouth (those are the worst) and 3 more that evening and it was history the next day. I have used the bottle I had and can't find it anywhere in 2 states and online. This is the best product I have ever used on cold sores!!!! Can it still be purchased somewhere?

Let me make this short and clear: I was extremely happy on Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo. Lutera has screwed me over in so many ways. For starters, I have never had a serious acne problem in my life and just three days ago my boyfriend came over and called me pizza face. I've been searching everywhere to see if anyone else has had the same violent physical reaction to Candex. I am happy I found this page with a couple of posters who have had identical side effects. I was diagnosed with degenerative facet changes, L-4, L-5. I had been on constant ADVIL for 1 month which does relieve the pain significantly.
