i switched from topamax to lamictal for prevention of migraines. i think it is a very good drug. i also have psych issues, mainly instability. Lamictal has really helped (more so than anything else).

I am a sufferer of menstrual migraines. I don't have bad periods, just a migrain for 7 days. Its hard to function with one full week out of the month designated to nursing a migrain. Seasonale has decreased these substantially!!! No spotting, easy period.This pill seemed to work like its supposed to for me. During the 4th month I am having some of the tight, heavy chest feeling and my blood pressure is too high all of a sudden. Working with the doctor to see what the cause is.

It's great for dealing with congestion/hay fever, but I stopped taking Drixoral after a short period of time because for me the dry mouth and thirst outweighed the benefits. I found myself drinking much more than usual because of my dry mouth, and consequently having to visit the bathroom much more frequently than usual. Ibuprofen relieves my headache and muscle aches, especially after a hard day's work. It usually is fast-acting, and the side effects are minimal. I recommend eating before consuming the medication. I would recommend this medication to anybody. It doesn't thin my blood like aspirin and give me nosebleeds.
